JOY at Sephora! 

Yesterday I went window shopping with a friend and we ended up at Sephora.

You know how sometimes you build a theory on a subject and you are so eager to start experimenting. With some free time at hand, we both found out that we’ve gathered enough hours of makeup youtube watching that we needed to put at work now! 

Please give us some credit here, it's not like we never touched makeup …it’s more like this: we needed practice on the difficult tasks …and God how many difficult tasks these turned out to be! It’s more like how to get that perfect geisha-like eyeliner, how to perfect a smokey and not look like someone gave you a punch on the eyes instead ...

The first task was …how to hide the black areas under the eyes! My task here was to report which brand covered the best. My friend was the lab rabbit (I’ll get a phone call as soon as this article is published!)..So she practically tried all brands of under eyes correctors and concealers and what not, that I couldn’t seriously make out which one was which?! The best part of all was when we discovered the new range of DIOR concealers in 4 colors! It was a big kid’s dream … The sales lady being absent from her stand we happily applied all these blues, greens, and beiges ..myself trying to hide a red spot after a pimple battle, and she trying all 3 colors to hide that under the eye black line. After 15 minutes of pure bliss and faces looking like united colors of Benetton we changed again to another station. 

This is where we were tackled by a professional named JOY at the Armani stand. The name couldn't fit a better person. I think she got it that we were only experimenting with no intention to buy and she joyfully played the game. Some more layers got applied on my friend’s under eyes. If I was a concealer I could only have worked wonders being the 20th layer applied on this eye! So I can’t really say if the brand was REALLY good or because it was the last concealer after so many! OK let’s give it some credit it was the best of all she tried. Then because no concealer can go without a foundation, JOY diligently tried her good tricks to put a nice shade on my friend’s face. We felt so bad that we couldn't buy at the end but we promised that we will make up for it. So JOY if you reading this you were PERFECT and you made our day!

And because the eyes looked bare afterward we both wanted to try these fancy eye liners.

This is my worst nightmare when it comes to makeup. Seeing our lame attempts at it, another less joyful one came to our rescue. After she applied it for both, she declared both of us NERVOUS PEOPLE !!! (we still can’t believe this part) and left us looking like two Cleopatras of the modern Era!  

2 hours of face painting later, we were ready to go …SHOOOOOPPING :) but we are sure that we’ve been tagged at SEPHORA as the no buy trouble makers!
