Pink Golf Clubs

What could be a better sport for a desperate housewife than golf ?! I got you for a moment :) You tought that was for me... god forbid Noooo...I'm definitely desperate but not housewife. No I just wanted to introduce you to one of my best friends here in Dubai who could be a perfect star for Marc Cherry if he ever considers creating the same series for the gulf region.

Well yesterday we had a long chitchat over the phone as we usually do these days, and she told me that she will engage in many new activities here in Dubai ..So I was all ears to see whether there was something in it I could join.

After being the perfect professional in her own field , I really bow to this girl's transformation to becoming a professional in raising her kid. While I cannot take my kid's shit for more than half an hour -ok I'm not that bad 1hour lets say- she is so happy being around her little one. You'd wonder how we got along together in the first place. Well sometimes some bizarre alchemy happens but I think this is due to the fact that she stayed authentic and down to earth in her own way.

So going back to the activities, she said she will start cooking sessions in a well known palace here in Dubai. She's going to learn making macaroons...sounds nice but just invite me to taste please, because the last time I tried macaroons they all stuck to the cooking paper and ended in the garbage can .

She will soon join an Italian designer school ..Haha things are getting interesting by the minute. Nice as a concept but this will stay as such for the moment no money no time no mood :)

And the last activity but not the least takes us to the core of this post. She said she started going to a golf club...oh my ! The greens are nice but I'd just see myself lying down the lawn not actually playing a sport lazy as I'm. Plus the extent of what it costs, I'd rather stick to my rollers and some swimming pool pushups to stay fit. Anyway my friend is now waiting for her nice and fancy golf clothing from the US. Plus she has a major PROBLEM. She could not find pink golf clubs in here. And she is definitely not going to do golf without these damn pink clubs!

So at the end this is as desperate as I could get , strolling the marina with her and having a juice drink by the pool in my "misteria lane" home!
